At VisiSoft, our passion is to make the experience of browsing the Internet intuitive, interactive, and fun. Our guiding principle is that software should adapt and work for the user, rather than forcing the user to adapt to the software. To that end, we made VisiTrieveTM: |
Visual – Most people don’t remember URLs, while pictures are readily recognizable and memorable. You can scan hundreds of thumbnail images in a fraction of the time it would take to read hundreds of URLs. |
Universal – It was important to us that the visual symbols we used would be understood by all cultures. |
Flexible – You shouldn’t have to adhere to the rigidity of hierarchical folders in deciding where to place a web page. We felt it was crucial to give you the option to use folders or not, and to file a page in multiple folders. If, down the road, you can’t remember where you filed a page, we wanted to give you the flexibility of typing in a relevant keyword in order to locate the page you need. |
Adaptable – Some people love to drag and drop. Others prefer buttons or typing. Whatever your preference, we’ve tried to accommodate it. |
| We hope that you give VisiTrieveTM a try, and that you develop a passion for using it that matches our passion in designing it. Enjoy! |
